How Consultations Work

Have you ever watched “My Cat From Hell” with Jackson Galaxy and thought, “I need a cat behaviorist to come to my home!” or “Are there any cat behaviorists near me?”

As a cat behavior specialist based in New York City, I prefer conducting in-home visits to interact directly with your cat in their natural environment. This allows me to better understand their behavior and form a connection. Instead of sitting in a chair, I usually sit on the floor to seem less threatening, helping your cat feel more comfortable. I also do Zoom consultations for people outside of the Greater New York Area.

During the consultation, I’ll ask plenty of questions, and we’ll spend about an hour discussing your cat’s specific behaviors and concerns. While we talk, I’m already thinking of potential solutions, tailoring a plan as we go to fit your cat’s unique needs. I like to take my time to reflect, so I often finalize the plan the next day, sending you a detailed recap email with actionable steps.

My customized plans and proven training techniques address a variety of behavior problems such as litter box issues, aggression, excessive meowing, spraying, and more. Whether you're dealing with a kitten, a senior cat, or wondering "why does my cat bite?", I’m here to help.
